September Wellness Routine

September Wellness Routine

✨ September Morning Rituals ✨

Over the past few months, I found myself struggling to keep my days flowing with ease. I was waking up already stressed, rushing through the morning, and constantly starting the day in “catch-up mode.” It wasn’t serving me.

So, I decided to change the way I approached my mornings. Slowly, I built a routine that helps me connect with myself before connecting with the world. What started as a small experiment has now become a habit — and honestly, it has transformed my life.

I feel happier, more energized, less stressed, and more grounded throughout the week. Most importantly, I’ve learned to put myself first in the mornings, and that shift has created ripple effects in every part of my life.

As we step into September, I wanted to share my morning routine with you — in case you’re looking for a reset, a way to feel more at peace, and to start your days with intention.

🌞 My Morning Routine

1. No Phone First Thing
I used to check my phone as soon as I opened my eyes — and instantly, I was pulled into emails, messages, and stress. Now, I don’t touch my phone until my morning ritual is complete. That one boundary has been life-changing.

2. Let Nature In
I open my curtains and window to let fresh air and light in. It’s a small act, but it feels like inviting nature to wake up with me.

3. Refresh & Reset
I head to the shower right away to wake my body up. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I extend this into a little self-care ritual: washing my hair, doing gua sha, and giving myself a mini facial. These days feel extra special, like a spa morning at home.

4. Fresh Air Moment
Before diving into tasks, I get dressed and step outside for a few minutes. Breathing in fresh air first thing gives me a sense of calm clarity.

5. Gratitude Journaling
At the kitchen table, I open my Five Minute Journal and write:

  • 3 things I’m grateful for

  • 3 things I’m looking forward to

  • My daily affirmation

This keeps me grounded in gratitude while also focusing my energy on what I want to create in my day.

6. Gut-Health Ritual
Before breakfast, I drink warm water with apple cider vinegar and lemon, followed by bone broth. It feels like a gentle wake-up for my gut before my first meal.

7. Cooking with Love
I make my breakfast with intention. Cooking has become a de-stressor for me — I look forward to preparing food that nourishes me, and it feels like a gift I give myself each morning.

8. Inner Work with TBM
Lately, I’ve been diving into To Be Magnetic — an online platform for manifestation, inner child work, and healing. It’s helped me reconnect with myself in a deep way, uncover old patterns, and get clear on the life I want to create. If you’ve been feeling lost, disconnected, or craving direction, this might be powerful for you too.

9. Coffee + Journaling Workshop
Only after this do I make my coffee, sit down, and listen to a TBM journaling or workshop session. It feels like my mind, body, and soul are fully aligned by this point.

10. Ready for the World
Finally, I check my phone, emails, and head into work. By this time, I feel centered and ready — instead of reactive and stressed.

🌱 Why This Routine Matters

The biggest shift has been learning that the first hour of your day sets the tone for everything that follows. Giving myself space away from my phone and obligations has been the best gift I could give myself.

If you’re looking for a reset this month, I encourage you to try even just one or two of these rituals. Start small — maybe with journaling or no-phone mornings — and see how it shifts your energy.

🛍️ Resources I Love

✨ Remember, your mornings are sacred. They belong to you, before the world asks anything of you. Protect that time, and watch how much lighter and more energized your days feel.
